As you shop for the 2018 Toyota Avalon, you’ll want to be familiar with the various trim levels first so you can get a better idea of which one is right for you. The lineup includes a total of eight trims, which includes three hybrid versions. So, you should be able to find a configuration that you love.
The Avalon XLE starts off the lineup with all the features you truly need. The front seats are trimmed in leather and feature multi-stage heating to keep you warm and comfortable on your way to the Ten Star Pizza Kitchen for dinner or Prairie Kitchen for breakfast. The Smart Key System includes push-button start for added convenience. The Entune Audio Plus system includes the Connected Navigation App so your smartphone can help you get around Ardmore to find new restaurants and activities.
All 2018 Avalons, including the XLE, also come standard with Toyota Safety Sense P, a suite of advanced driver-assistive features. The Lane Departure Alert helps you steer back to your lane, and the Pre-Collision System also detects pedestrians. This suite also includes Dynamic Radar Cruise Control and Auto High Beams.
Avalon XLE Plus
Moving up, the XLE Plus adds an automatically dimming rearview mirror featuring a HomeLink universal transceiver. It also adds a power tilt and slide moonroof complete with a sliding sunshade to block out the sun. Those features are in addition to everything already listed above. This is one of the three trims offered as a hybrid, as well.
Avalon XLE Premium
If that isn’t quite enough for you, the XLE Premium trim upgrades to Entune Premium Audio with the Integrated Navigation System, the App Suite, and nine speakers. In terms of safety, it adds Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Blind Spot Monitor. For convenience, you get memory settings for the exterior mirrors and driver’s seat. This trim also has Qi-compatible wireless charging. You can also get an Avalon Hybrid XLE Premium for these features and fuel savings on the way to Tucker Tower Nature Center.
Costing just a bit more than the XLE Premium, the 2018 Avalon Touring has a specific suspension to deliver a sportier ride. It also has 18-inch dark gray alloy wheels and black wood-grain-style interior trim. It even adds LED headlights featuring LED Daytime Running Lights with an on/off feature.

This trim also includes Safety Connect with roadside and emergency assistance, heated rear seats, rear climate controls, and power rear window shades.
